That’s right! Even our staff joined in on today’s theme day fun. We were very impressed with the amazing and creative costumes that our campers wore today for Halloween in the summer! We even had a Halloween parade first thing in the morning to start our day right!
After our parade we had stage time like usual. Our campers did a great job singing and dancing together on stage to yesterday’s song, “Big Red Plane.” With that and “New Kid in the Neighborhood” finished, we shifted gears and began working on “Shadow”, a slower song with great vocals and a very unique dance.
“Time for Trick or Treat!”
We covered “Shadow” in music and dance class today. We loved the energy from all of our campers in costume. Outside at games we played a game called “Froggy Detective” and had so much fun together! Back inside at art class went right along with our theme day as campers crafted their very own paper plate monsters!
In faith formation we continued our lesson on the Trinity, with a special focus on God the Son, Jesus Christ. We also continued our work learning the prayers. More specifically, we covered the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be.
After a day full of princesses, athletes, monsters, and cowboys, we regrouped together on stage again. We were amazed to see so much progress after only 3 days of camp! At this rate, our show will be here in no time. Remember, tickets can be purchased online or at the door and our show is on Thursday, June 27th at 7:00pm or Friday, June 28th at 2:00pm.
