Today is the last day of the first week of #SummerbytheCCC24! Our campers put in a lot of hard work over the last few days and we’re so proud of them! We asked some of our campers what their favorite CCC moment from the week was and their answers were amazing.
“My favorite moment from this week was learning how to dance while singing!” – Leo
“My favorite thing this week was playing wiffle ball at games for the first time!” – Anna
“My favorite thing was meeting my new friends!” – Audrey
Lookin’ Spiffy!
Today in music and dance class we learned “Spiffin’ Up Ziggy,” a song with a fun dance and a catchy chorus. We’re sure you’ll be hearing lots of this one around the house and in the car! Now that “Spiffin’ Up Ziggy” looks and sounds great, we can add it to our list of completed songs. So far we’ve learned the song and dance to:
- New Kid in the Neighborhood
- Big Red Plane
- Shadows
- Trick or Treat
- Spiffin’ Up Ziggy
Mr. Will has also made lots of progress with our featured roles. Our cast is full of talent and we can’t wait for you to see them for yourself next week! Check out their progress for yourself by watching the video below!
Shining All Week!
This week we also introduced our campers to some very important topics to our Catholic faith including the Trinity, saints, prayer, creation, and more! Our campers have been having very enriching conversations at faith formation and Mr. Elijah is always so happy to hear all the insightful questions they have.
Outside at games was nonstop fun like usual. There was a huge game of sharks and minos, duck-duck-goose galore, and more! And at art today we used very special coloring books. Thanks to a donation from one of our parents at CCC, our campers made use of special coloring books with a QR code inside to be scanned. Upon scanning the code, the parents can turn their campers drawings into music! Very cool!

While today was shorter for some of us and longer for others, all of us had a great week. We’ll see you all on Monday next week for water day, so come prepared in a bathing suit with sunscreen, a towel, and everything else your child might need to have the best water day ever!
Truly a Family at CCC
We are truly a family at CCC, which is why we love seeing so many brothers and sisters having a blast together at camp. We wouldn’t be the family we are without all of you!

CCC @ the Phillies
Catholic Community Choir has the incredible opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Citizens Bank Park for the Philadelphia, Phillies game this Saturday at 4:00! We couldn’t be more excited and we hope to see you there! You won’t want to miss it!
