As we start to approach the end of our first week of camp, we are excited to see A Year With Frog and Toad TYA coming together. Our campers have been working hard learning music, choreography, and blocking for their opening performance next week!
Beginning our day with stage time, some of our older campers performed “Merry Almost Christmas” for our younger friends. Everyone then joined in the fun, practicing all of the musical numbers taught in their classes. The production team was so impressed with all the hard work our campers put in, they rewarded everyone with a snack break!

Our campers were slipping and sliding like snails in dance class as they learned “The Letter #1.”
Kites are getting ready to soar as campers continue their designs in art class.
Ms. Ruth encouraged campers to develop their character motivations by playing Murder Mystery.
Faith Formation sent campers on a scavenger hunt for household items that retell the stories of Jesus’s miracles.
Although it’s 6 months away, our campers had the Christmas spirit in music class as they learned “Merry Almost Christmas.”

What better way to learn more about our fellow group members than playing Parachute with Mr. Babcock in games!

Congratulations to our campers of the day! These campers were recognized for being leaders in their group, setting an example for others on what it means to shine on and off the stage. Good job Clara, Juliette, Maria, Noah, Audrey, Adelyn, Parker, Grace, Christian, and Jette!
General Updates 🗞️
Water Day is tomorrow! All campers should wear a modest bathing suit under their camper t-shirt and shorts or swim trunks. It is a great time to label t-shirts if you haven’t yet. Sneakers should be worn, and campers need to pack a towel and their usual lunch, snacks, and water bottles. Remember to please apply sunscreen before camp; campers will spend a lot of time outside on our waterslides, but will take time for breaks indoors as well. It is sure to be a great day!
