It’s only one day until we open our first show of the summer, A Year with Frog and Toad TYA! Our campers are ready for audiences to witness the production they have been putting so much time and effort into over the past two weeks.

Not only is today bursting with excitement as technical elements and costumes are being introduced, but it is also U.S.A. day! We are celebrating the Fourth of July a little early this year, wearing all things red, white, and blue

Before we start our show today, we first need to ensure that our campers are on top of their game. Stage time was full of singing and dancing as we practiced every musical number in the show. Our campers showed the production team that they are audience-ready, getting the green light to perform a full run. But first, break time!
Putting It Together 🧱

With some relaxing downtime in Art class, campers created Fourth of July firework paintings.

Since we are saving our energy for the stage, Mr. Babcock kept things chill in games.

Faith Formation taught campers how we can shine with the light of Jesus in our everyday lives.
Time to Tech 🎤

Today our campers had their most important rehersal yet, tech rehearsal. During this run of the show, we incorporated microphones, props, and even some costumes. This process can be very strenuous, but this kind of work takes our show to the next level!
Campers of the Day 🏆

Congratulations to our campers of the day! These campers were recognized for being leaders in their group, setting an example for others on what it means to shine on and off the stage. Good job Layne, Madison, Penelope, Harlow, Milania, Madelyn, Greta, Rae, Will, and Claire.
