Merry Christmas, campers! Our eighth day of camp is filled with holiday spirit as we prepare for our opening performance of James and the Giant Peach JR., prepping all of our mystical technical elements for audiences to enjoy.
Before we begin teching our show, campers headed to the stage to review everything they have learned throughout all of their classes. Ms. Keira took charge today, ensuring every performance was in tip-top shape. After all of their diligent work, campers earned a nice, long snack break!

Despite being 5 months away, campers showed up dining their most festive attire for our Christmas in July theme day! From Santa beards to sparkling Christmas lights, our campers were ready to start celebrating their favorite holiday season. Don’t worry campers, Christmas is only 161 days away, but who’s counting?

General Updates 🗞️
Tomorrow is show day! Some key details you need to know include:
There is no aftercare tomorrow or Friday. All campers should be picked up in the carline so that they can return for our performance, and picked up after Friday’s show. All campers should return at 5:45 p.m. to the East Entrance of the building, closest to the cafeteria. There is no carline at this time. The performance is at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. You can buy tickets online or at the door. The performance will end around 8:00 p.m. All campers should be picked up in the cafeteria following the performance. Be sure to sign out with a staff member and collect belongings from the cafeteria.
Tickets are on sale now for James and the Giant Peach JR! Performances are this Thursday, July 17th, at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, July 18th, at 2:00 p.m., and seats are assigned for all summer camp performances, so prepare in advance. Tickets can be found here!
