Shrek the Musical Jr Joy!

What a weekend. What a community. What a reminder of why we do what we do. We celebrated a big, bright, beautiful world at CCC Shines all weekend long and we could not be more proud of the spectacular weekend all around. The message of this show is so important to us all. We continue to be reminded to celebrate our differences and what makes us all special. A perfect message for everyone.

Our cast brought the story to life with confidence, creativity, and joy and what made it even more special was the community behind it. From our dedicated staff and volunteers to the families cheering in the audience, this production was a true reflection of what it means to shine on and off the stage.

So many great moments were captured behind the scenes all weekend long by our talented staff and Active Image Media. Be sure to check it out on our instagram page for some laughs and smiles!

As the curtain closes on our incredible production of Shrek Jr., we’re filled with gratitude, pride, and so much excitement for what’s ahead.

Your support fuels more than a production. It creates opportunities for children to grow in confidence, find their voice, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Because of you, the magic shines brighter.

Celebrating Our Community

The impact of CCC Shines reaches far beyond our stage and this week, we’re celebrating some incredible moments from our community:

  • Shoutout to Colton Frese, who designed and created a custom CCC sweatshirt using vintage CCC apparel. We are so impressed with this beautiful creation and inspired by his hard work and creativity. We are sure with everyone’s excitement of seeing Colton’s creation, there will be many more of these special items in the future with Colton’s leadership! Pictured below is the front and back of Colton’s design.
  • Congratulations to Makayla Hepfer on winning the Archdiocesan Honor Choir Scholarship. Makayla plans to continue shining her light on the stage as she enters high school next fall and we can’t wait to see all she continues to achieve! Makayla is pictured below with fellow CCC Shines member, Brian Manning, who also participated in the Archdiocesan Elementary Music Festival recently as well as many other past and present CCC Shines members. Way to go!
  • Many of our alumni have or are taking the stage in local school productions shining their light for the whole world to see! They are continuing to grow, lead, and shine in their next chapters and we are so delighted to see them continuing to do what they love so much.

These moments are exactly what we mean when we say… the stage is just the beginning.

What’s Ahead

The momentum continues—and we are just getting started:
