Welcome back to all of our campers for the second day of A Year with Frog and Toad TYA! Yesterday, we had a blast getting to know everyone, attending classes, and starting the summer off right.
Today, our campers came ready to begin putting together the show. With our cast list posted, everyone is excited to get to work. Congratulations to the cast of A Year with Frog and Toad TYA!

During stage time today, our campers were practicing everything they learned on day one. CCC Shines is receiving a special visitor tomorrow from FOX 29, so we need to make sure our musical numbers are in tip-top shape! After working so hard on perfecting our performance, it was time for break.

Faith Formation welcomed Mrs. Crowley to class, where she began teaching campers all about Jesus and this camp’s theme: Shine with the light of Jesus.

As we begin blocking our show, Ms. Ruth gave campers tips about combating stage fright so they can shine brightly onstage without fear.

Although you won’t find them in Frog and Toad, our campers took on the roles of sharks and minnows during games with Mr. Babcock.

Campers were working hard learning three different dances with Ms. Mary Kate and Ms. Phoebe, some of which might be on TV tomorrow morning!

During art class, our campers continued working on their green paper plate frogs and began coloring some majestic kites!

Ms. Lily and Ms. Keira tackled our next big musical number, “Getta Loada Toad,” educating our campers about five things they can not dispute.

Our campers love to get creative, so Ms. Bridget encouraged campers to use their talents to help their community by making cards for the Ronald McDonald House.

Congratulations to our campers of the day! These campers were recognized for being leaders in their group, setting an example for others on what it means to shine on and off the stage. Good job Ben, Jack, Giuliana, Charlotte, Tommy, Ellie, Remy, Morgan, Keely, and Rosie!
As you may have read earlier, Jenn Frederick is coming to camp tomorrow! Tune into FOX 29 tomorrow morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to catch our campers on TV. We will be showing off all of the fun we have at camp, along with a sneak preview of our show!
Want to know what’s happening at camp? We’ll be sending these blogs out every day when camp is done, so be sure to stay tuned. We also give you all the best moments, memories, updates, and videos on our Instagram and Facebook daily. Check them out to view all the fun this summer! ✨
