Today was an extra special day at camp as we celebrated CCC Spirit Day! The camp was bursting with energy and excitement as everyone donned their favorite CCC gear, spirit wear, throwbacks, and more. Some campers even got creative and dressed up as Mr. Brac, adding a fun twist to the day. The spirit and enthusiasm were truly infectious!
CCC Spirit Day brought out the best in everyone. From vintage camp shirts to creative costumes and especially our shine shirts, the campers showed off their love for CCC in style. The day was a wonderful reminder of the strong community and tradition that makes our camp so special. Check out some of our CCC Spirit for yourself here.
8th Grade Spirit
Yesterday we gave a special farewell to our 8th graders. It’s their last summer with us, and we’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished. Today, they really stood out by wearing their own CCC Spirit Day tie-dye shirts that they all made together. They were awesome!
A Magical Atmosphere
The day kicked off with a full dress and tech rehearsal, and wow, was it something special! By the end of the day we ran through the entire show uninterrupted, and the result was simply amazing. The leads are putting in the work, and it shows—they absolutely rock! Check out their hard work for yourself here.
The costumes, lights, set designs, and props all came together beautifully, creating a magical atmosphere on stage. Our production team is killing it, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone’s hard work. Throughout the day, we also took time to work with any campers who needed to polish up their scenes, ensuring that every part of the show is perfect.
Wrapping Up Our Classes
In Faith Formation, Miss Abby took the lead today, and it was a hit! She read wonderful stories to our younger campers, creating a warm and engaging environment. In addition to storytime, we also had a great discussion about saints, where the campers shared stories about their favorite saints and learned about the lives of these inspiring figures.
Art class was a creative explosion as we colored our favorite Cinderella characters. The campers let their imaginations run wild, and the results were fantastic. Over in games, Mr. Babcock led an intense and fun-filled session of “Fugitive” outside. The yellow team was on fire, winning over and over again! It was a blast and the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Today was also our last day of classes, and we made sure to end them with a bang. Every class was filled with laughter, creativity, and memories that we’ll never forget!
