Happy Friday campers! We have officially finished our first week of camp for our final session of the summer: Alice in Wonderland JR.! Not only is it the end of our first week, it is also our last Water Day of #SummerbytheCCC25. Campers rolled up today wearing their favorite bathing suits and beach towels, ready to take on the sun.
Before we can head outside, we need to put our show on its feet. Campers took to the stage to practice all of the musical numbers they had learned this week, including fan favorites like “Adventure is a Wonderful Thing” and “Caucus Race.” After working so hard, our staff sent campers out for an extra-long snack break!

We are bringing back Bible Bingo with Mrs. Crowley in Faith Formation.
With our show opening in less than a week, campers are beginning to design their kiss bags.

Swimming All the Way to Water Day
With such wonderful weather outside, campers participated in one of our favorite CCC Shines camp days, Water Day! Campers had the opportunity to test out four epic waterslides on our games field, making a splash all day long.
Aside from waterslides, everyone had fun in the sun with other activities. Campers were playing outdoor games, competing in a water balloon toss, and keeping cool in the shade. A perfect day to end our Water Day tradition this summer!

Congratulations to our campers of the day! These campers were recognized for being leaders in their group, setting an example for others on what it means to shine on and off the stage. Good job Julia, Connor, Charlotte, Delaney, Cecelia, Norah, Hensley, Celia, Annabelle, and Janie!
