It might’ve been gloomy outside today, but it was magical at CCC! The halls are filled with our favorite songs from Cinderella and the stage is packed with talent.
We started our morning by reviewing a couple of songs that we learned this week. These include “The Prince is Having a Ball” and “It’s Possible”. We wrapped up our morning with a new song called “10 Minutes Ago”.
After finishing our morning break, we moved to classes. In music and dance we reviewed those same songs. We also learned the choreography and vocals to “10 Minutes Ago”. In our landing, you can find Will and a couple of our leads blocking out key scenes.
A Stellar Day 🌟
At Faith formation we discussed a few of our favorite Saints. We also learned about vocations, what they are, and the role they play in our lives. Our older friends especially enjoyed today’s lesson! One of our special highlights from today are our own Royal Ball Masquerade Masks that we made at art. They look fantastic!
We made our way down to special class with Mrs. Crowley where we continued our Love Bags service project. When finished our Love Bags Mrs. Crowley dropped them off and they made their way to Divine Providence, Springfield Rehabilitation Center, and the homebound parishioners of St. Kevin’s! We also started a new project where we will be writing and decorating letters to patients at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
We made sure not to let the rain put a damper on our day. We held games in the cafeteria and offered a plethora of activities. It was games galore! During our free time we held a mini-talent show and even got the staff involved! We even found time for our very own mini-Olympic race!
