Happy Friday! We had an excellent first week of session 3. Our campers are loving Cinderella and all the magic that comes with it.
Stage time went by in a flash. Now that we’re on day five we’ve learned nearly all of our large cast numbers. By next week we will be singing every song and dancing every dance to perfection.
In order to ensure the best show possible we continued to review our large cast numbers in music and dance class. Miss Keira also met with some of the leads to go over some of our smaller musical numbers. At this point Mr. Will has finished blocking scenes 1-3 with our leads. Get a glimpse of how much we accomplished in just one week here on our Instagram!
The Return of Mr. Babs! 🌟
Downstairs in the cafeteria we’ve got Mr. Babcock’s triumphant return for games. It may have been raining out, but we still had maximal fun. Mr. Babcock had our campers in the hot-seat for a guessing game and then we played an arts and crafts game. Over at our special class with Mrs. Crowley we continued our work decorating and writing letters to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. They are all so sweet and thoughtful!
Finally at faith formation, Mr. Elijah lead our campers in group rosaries. It was Mary Day at Faith formation so we learned all about the Rosary, the Blessed Mother, and Marian Apparitions. This has got to be one of our favorite days!
We had a very special guest returned to camp today: Miss Emma! This summer, led our campers in a huge stage time session. Here the campers practiced their improv and acting skills with their own scenes. Miss Emma was sure to help out and point them in the right direction. We’re so thankful to have her here at CCC with us!
