It’s the very last week of #summerbytheCCC24 and we’re spending our Monday soaking up the sun and taking advantage of every moment we have left together.
It’s water day today, so it was pretty easy to have summer fun in the summer sun. With four water slides and games galore, all of our campers had a blast! We raced and splashed up and down the slides. We even had a water balloon toss.
We also made sure to hydrate and sit under the shade when needed. It was so wonderful to see our older friends using their free time to learn their lines and study their scripts! See how much fun we had today for yourself here.
One for the Books!🤩
We made sure to keep the energy going on stage all day. While half the camp was outside, the other half was polishing up or larger cast numbers. We also made sure to work with our leads as well. Throughout the day, we pulled them from water day and stage time to finish blocking our scenes. Miss Keira also worked with them on their vocals.
We finished stage time with two new songs: “The Finale” and “Step Sisters’ Lament”. The campers loved these songs! Now that the group numbers have been taught and our smaller numbers with our leads are looking great, we can confidently say this show will be one for the books!

As the summer slowly comes to a close, we’ll be having one last chance for the CCC family to come together outside of camp! Join us for a frozen treat at the YoCrave in Springfield from 12:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, August 13th. We are looking forward to it and can’t wait to see you there
