The energy at camp today was electric… and red, white, and blue! In honor of America’s upcoming 250th birthday, we celebrated USA Day with campers and staff showing their patriotic spirit all throughout the building. It was the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be one of our biggest days of the summer yet.
It’s Almost SHOWTIME!
Today marked a major milestone: our first tech and dress rehearsals. With performances just two days away, the full production came to life in a way that made everyone stop and take notice. Our staff was truly everywhere at once — managing transitions, running lines, cueing music, adjusting costumes, and cheering campers on every step of the way. It’s the kind of behind-the-scenes hustle that makes the magic possible, and we are so proud of this team. Sharing our Gratitude
While our older campers were deep in rehearsals, our younger campers had a truly special faith formation experience. They learned a song about their guardian angel and listened to a read-aloud book tied to the same beautiful theme. Then, inspired by the idea of brightening someone’s day, they got to work making cards and drawings for the people they love most — family members, friends, and so many sweet campers who chose to make something special for their counselors or camp teachers. The staff were moved. It was that kind of day.
Every corner of camp today was filled with something meaningful — patriotism, performance, prayer, and pure joy. We cannot wait to see this community come together for the show.
