The excitement was in the air today at CCC Shines as our Seussical campers prepared for their performances! With two full run-throughs of the show, a special Mass, it was a meaningful and exciting day as we get ready to share all of our hard work with family and friends.
Final Rehearsals Before the Show
Our campers completed two full run-throughs of Seussical today as they prepared for performances tonight and tomorrow. From music and choreography to acting, costumes, and transitions, everyone worked together to make sure the show was ready for the stage.
Celebrating Mass Together
Campers and staff also gathered together for Mass, taking time to pray and reflect as a camp community. It was a wonderful opportunity to thank God for the many blessings of our summer and ask for His guidance as our campers prepare to share their talents.
Celebrating Our Counselors
Today we wanted to take time to celebrate and thank all of our amazing counselors for the countless hours, smiles, encouragement, creativity, and care they have given our campers this summer.
Our counselors play such an important role in making CCC Shines a special place. From leading classes and rehearsals to playing games, encouraging campers, and creating memories, their hard work has made a lasting impact on our summer.
We are so grateful for everything they have done!
Let’s Hear From Our Campers!
As summer begins to come to a close, we asked our campers:
“What are you going to miss the most about CCC Shines Summer Camp?”
Here are some of their answers:
- Quinn S.: Making new friends
- Gemma H.: The people I made friends with
- Anna N.: Making memories as a camper
