Our last Water Day of the summer was one to remember! Campers spent the day enjoying plenty of water-filled fun, laughter, and summer memories. With four exciting water slides to enjoy, everyone had a fantastic time cooling off and celebrating another amazing summer at CCC Shines!
Making a Splash!
Water Day gave campers the perfect opportunity to enjoy some summer fun with their friends. With four water slides, lots of fun activities, and plenty of smiles, it was a day full of laughter and unforgettable memories.
Then campers got back to work during Stage Time, continuing to put all the pieces of our show together, running through our songs and dances and some of our leads got to run through blocking. Each rehearsal brings us one step closer to seeing everything come to life on stage!
Behind the Scenes
While our campers were busy preparing for the show, our amazing staff and Set Team continued working hard behind the scenes. They spent the day painting our beautiful set and making sure everything is ready for the big performances next week.
We are so thankful for everyone who works behind the scenes to make CCC Shines productions so special!
Counselor Corner
We asked our counselors:
“Why do you love being a camp counselor for CCC Shines, and what is something you love about your campers?”
Ms. Emily: “I love seeing the kids’ smiling faces every morning. It always brightens my day. I love when they have enough trust in me to ask me to help them with whatever they need.”
Ms. Danielle B.: “I love getting to help the campers make memories and get to do it with my friends. I love when my campers give me hugs and hold my hand.”
Let’s Hear From Our Campers!
As we wrapped up our final Water Day of the summer, we asked our campers:
